Hosted by the Forensic Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association, the conference will consist of keynote speakers and concurrent sessions dealing with a wide variety of fraud, forensic, and investigative accounting topics, panel discussions, case work, and other scholarly activity.
AICPA & CIMA Engage 24

The annual event is one of the largest annual educational and networking conferences hosted by the AICPA and CIMA. While the agenda is not yet available for next year’s event, this year’s conference included sessions that delved into tax, technology and auditing.

The Institute of Management Accountants, one of the largest associations focused on the management accounting profession, will hold its annual conference at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio. The conference will include numerous panels, career coaching and a wide range of main stage speakers including Marsha Hunt, member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, Jeffrey Hales, member of the International Sustainability Standards Board, and Patti Humble, chief accounting officer at UPS.
American Accounting Association Annual Meeting 2024

At its 108th annual meeting next year the American Accounting Association will zero in on the theme of “revolutionizing accounting education.” AAA President Mark Taylor said the annual meeting will include at-large and concurrent sessions focusing on research and teaching as well as hot topics such as generative AI, data analytics and technology, and ESG, along with some sessions devoted to transforming accounting education to reverse the trend in declining accounting student enrollment.
